GELATO #45 is the perfect example of selective breeding of the Barney’s Farm laboratory.
The parents of GELATO #45TM, Sunset Sherbert and Thin Mint Girl Scout Cookies, provided, after selection, a beautifully balanced 60% Indica hybrid, the perfect choice for growers with any level of experience.
GELATO #45 is very easy to grow and is versatile for a wide range of growing techniques.
Description
It has a unique and extraordinary taste and an aromatic profile in which contrast subtle notes of roasted pine, flowers and skunk notes of citrus fruits with deliciously sweet aromas reminiscent of mint ice cream and chocolate and sweet and fruity berries.
GELATO #45TM is a strong and robust plant that reaches 100-120cm indoors with a flowering period of just 70 days.Outdoors it can grow easily up to 2-2.5 meters in height, reaching ripening in early October.
The vibrant dark lime color and the olive green of the fan leaves change during its growth and, in the right hands, towards the final phases of flowering, emerges a spectacular range of colors:with a background of beautiful leaves that flaunt deep purple with red and orange shades.
The orbital-shaped buds are densely compact and inflate more and more as the ripe plant, the deep purple-coloured sugar leaves are gradually swallowed by the large green lime resin glands covered by bright amber-coloured pistils and a golden coating of resinous and sticky tricomas.
