Growing of Mexican Sativa Female

Our Mexican Sativa Feminized is strong, tall and elegant as the original variety. These characteristics are the result of its genetic origins in southern Mexico.

But a pure sativa of Central America would be extremely difficult to cultivate, especially to our latitudes. So our Mexican Sativa also contains a pinch of South Africa (Durban) and Pakistan (Hash Plant). This allowed us to reduce flowering time and improve cold resistance.

The result is a robust plant with 70% of sativa genes that behaves well both in a cultivation room and outdoors. In a Mediterranean climate with long summers, Mexican Sativa can grow easily up to two meters high. But it is comfortable even in fresher climates.

During the flowering phase, which lasts from 50 to 70 days, these plants grow a lot, so a sufficient height of the ceiling is essential. The increase in height can be reduced in some way keeping the growth phase short. The thinning of the plants increases this effect. The lateral branches respond well to this technique, and to other cultivation methods such as the Sea of Green (SOG), the Screen of Green (SCROG), lollipopping and supercropping. If applied correctly, this can significantly increase the performance.

Effect, flavor and smell of Mexican Sativa Female

The consumption of this cannabis strain produces a wave of euphoria, often accompanied by laughter. Since it does not leave a feeling of tiredness or lethargy, Mexican Sativa can also be consumed during the day and for physical activities. The effect is rapid and relatively long.

During the growth and flowering phase, Mexican Sativa emanates only a subtle perfume - an advantage for discreet growers. This changes once it is harvested and dried. The grass smells of a mixture of sandalwood and floral aromas, with a background of terrous pine. Depending on the phenotype there may also be notes of licorice and citrus fruits. One thing we are sure: the Mexican Sativa will lift your mind and taste buds.
