Durban Feminized is a large subtropical sativa that grows abundantly throughout South Africa and is appreciated everywhere. It is a adaptable plant that can be cultivated anywhere that offers from 8 to 12 hours of sunlight per day during normal growth season. Cultivation of the Female Durban

We created cannabis seeds Durban Feminized to produce sativa plants from outside exceptionally as well. The mother variety Durban Poison is one of the most famous local cannabis varieties in the world, and we wanted to make it accessible to you as well. Developed using only specific plants of Durban’s well-established genetic heritage, these seeds ensure that the heritage of the variety remains intact.

The plants are slightly lower than other varieties of Durban. It also takes less time to flower and produce denser inflorescences during the flowering phase. You can expect to see develop a main stem flanked by strong lateral branches during the vegetative period. Once the flowering begins correctly, the glasses grow in correspondence of the knots, then widen upwards, filling the spaces on the branches and on the main stem. Small pistils are often pink or yellow at first, then darkened as plants continue to grow.

The Feminized Durban is a good option for beginners, since it can bear the most common mistakes of growers. Its resilience and reliability allow it to produce abundant yields, even in colder climates.

The plants grow constantly. Keeping the period of short vegetation and/or cutting them, their height can be limited to only 150 cm, if necessary. The use of this approach is ideal for smaller gardens, or even balconies. Growers looking to maximize height should start seeds inside the beginning of spring, move them outside once the frosts are finally finished, then resist pruning or cutting them. This approach creates plants higher than about one meter.

The height of the Feminized Durban allows you to benefit from techniques such as conditioning or supercropping. If you grow compact plants you can also use Sea of Green (SOG) or Screen of Green (SCROG) methods. The thicker side branches indicate that lollipopping is not generally beneficial.

Effect, flavour and smell of Feminized Durban

The feminized Durban produces distinctly sweet aromas and flavors, with strong dominant notes of citrus and anise. Plants with darker leaves often have a more terrous scent, warmer during flowering, which passes thinly to coffee, sandalwood or even chocolate.

Renowned for its powerful cerebral effect, but also calming and relaxing, the Feminized Durban is ideal for creative activities. The effects are exceptionally soft, but intense rather than mild.
