The bioplastic used for TOB Indoor is a completely Italian and innovative product: the same characteristics of plastic (duration, flexibility and resistance) in a natural product that, after its normal use, degrades in very short times without releasing any toxic substance. The material is compostable, that is, it degrades (in the laboratory in a controlled composting situation, at the constant temperature of 58° and humidity of 40°) for more than 90% in 6 months! This means that if our bioplastic is put underground it will need a little more time to decompose completely but that will be exceptionally lower than the "normal" plastic degradation times (6/800 years!). Obviously the normal conditions of use in water or air do not affect the product minimally. TOB is born and develops in Italy, son of the Marche hinterland - region of tradition and excellence footwear - of Trentino - where the attention to organic and ecological is expressed in an attentive and authentic way - and of Milan - a city symbol of design and fashion. TOB Italia is not a simple commercial operation but the result of a personal and professional path that the founding members have always pursued over the years, trying to combine apparently distant principles with each other:
