World-famous architect Antoni Gaudí used hemp. In the design of the Sagrada Familia, Gaudí hung on the ceiling hemp ropes attached to bags full of lead. This allowed him to reproduce the church curves on a reduced scale. Guadí also used hemp canvas sheets to imitate the times and walls of the church.
